Belize has made one of the greatest efforts on the planet for protecting endangered-rare-species (of all types), mammals and 'you name it'! 60% of Belize is environmentally protected by the government by the creation of preserves. The largest is the jaguar sanctuary and the largest endangered and rare bird population reside here. Our Islands and our Dangriga facility are also established as sanctuaries!
